Oracle Developer - Remote Work (Contract)
Location: Remote Country: UK Rate: £450 per day (Inside)
 

Our client are a top tier consulting looking for x2 Oracle Developers on a 6 months.

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL SQL and Unix Scripting, along with proficiency in Unix editor tools such as vi. While some Java knowledge would be beneficial, it is not essential for this role. The ideal candidate will also possess strong unit testing skills and the ability to plan and script tests for changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software solutions using Oracle SQL/PL SQL and Unix Scripting.
  • Utilize Unix editor tools such as vi for efficient code editing and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new projects.
  • Write and maintain unit tests for changes, ensuring code quality and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to identify and resolve issues.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software development.
