Python Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with extensive experience in API systems programming. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of distributed asynchronous systems, including their design principles and implementation. Proficiency in utilising Kafka for building such systems is essential for this role. The candidate should be adept at developing scalable, efficient, and reliable solutions using Python.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain API systems using Python.
• Architect distributed asynchronous systems and design their components.
• Implement solutions leveraging Kafka for data streaming and messaging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and APIs.
• Optimize system performance and scalability.
• Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends related to API systems and distributed systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Python Developer with a focus on API systems programming.
• In-depth understanding of distributed asynchronous systems architecture and principles.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka and experience in implementing solutions using Kafka.
• Proficiency in Python programming language and related frameworks/libraries.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
