IT Services Deputy Manager (Permanent)
Location: Norwich, Norfolk Country: UK Rate: £32k - £34k (DOE)
Your new company
I am working with a growing Multi Academy Trust who are based across East Anglia. Their aim is to deliver outstanding education for the younger generation. They already have multiple schools over East Anglia and looking to expand even more. You will be based in one of the Norwich High Schools supporting a small team and covering multiple schools within the Trust.
Your new role
As the Deputy IT Services Manager, you will be working alongside the IT Services Manager to help ensure smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and services within the trust. Your responsibilities will include supporting network operating systems, equipment, cabling, and infrastructure products. You will leverage your technical expertise in desktop computers, peripherals, and WAN technologies to successfully manage IT operations on a trust-wide scale. Regular visits to other schools within the trust will be required, so a full driving license is essential.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience in a Microsoft environment.
- Practical knowledge of network operating systems, equipment, cabling, and infrastructure products.
- Strong technical background in desktop computers and peripherals.
- Enthusiasm for advanced technologies required to manage a trust-wide WAN.
- Full driving license for regular visits to other schools.
