IT Change & Asset Manager (Permanent)

Location: City of London Country: UK Rate: Up to £65k per annum

Central London (Hybrid/remote)

£65,000 annually

TRIA are working with a fascinating global private equity organisation that spans across 16 countries with over 14,000 employees and 100,000+ users.

We are representing a global education institution who are looking for an experienced IT Change & Asset Manager. This is an exciting position in a brand new area of the business and a great opportunity to be a part of a brand new service management function within the business.

Your primary responsibilities for the role will be to own the Change Management processes and activities to make sure they run efficiently and effectively and to lead on the Asset Management activities working with global teams to ensure the delivery of standardised Asset Management policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone personable with excellent communication skills that can engage with teams and stakeholders at all levels of the business group-wide.

Responsibilities in a nutshell:

  • Define and implement Asset Management best practice; ensuring compliance to legal, financial and cyber security policies as required.
  • Work with the IT Leaders and supporting teams to ensure that the relationships between assets and Services are recorded accurately within the ITSM CMDB.
  • Provide and maintain training and documentation relating to policies, processes and procedures which are readily available to the relevant audience.
  • To be responsible for the control of changes in a standardized manner.
  • Communicates, manages and chairs CAB meetings. Lead the rapid review and approval of urgent and emergency changes.

Preferred skills:

  • ITIL knowledge and experience
  • Change Management experience
  • Solid understanding of Asset Management
  • Experience in an ITIL SAM role
  • Stakeholder management/relationship building
